We seek an experienced, data-savvy, highly organised Account Director to join our fast-paced media planning and buying team. In this role, you will support the development and execution of strategic media campaigns across digital, broadcast, print, OOH, and audio platforms. You will work closely with our client partners, internal teams, and external partners to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Media Planning & Strategy: Assist in developing integrated media plans based on client briefs, audience insights, and media knowledge. Evaluate media channels and recommend the most effective mix to meet campaign objectives. Contribute to developing media strategies that deliver bold ideas, independent thinking and seamless execution to drive exceptional results.
- Media Buying & Execution: Execute media buying across digital and non-digital channels. Liaise with media owners and platforms to negotiate rates, secure inventory, and manage timelines. Coordinate bookings to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Campaign Management: Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and provide actionable insights and optimisation recommendations. Track budgets, manage billing, and ensure accurate financial reconciliation. Prepare detailed post-campaign reports and analysis.
- Client & Stakeholder Communications: Maintain day-to-day communication with clients, ensuring timely updates and excellent service. Work collaboratively with creative and analytic teams to align campaign execution with broader marketing efforts. Present media plans and performance insights to clients and senior stakeholders when required.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay current with the latest trends in media, digital, and advertising, incorporating new technologies, platforms, and innovations into client strategies.
- New Business: Assist in pitching, understand the client’s requirements, and present and demonstrate our products/services to new prospects. Assist our client partners with onboarding new clients and coordinating SLA agreements.
Skills & Experience
- 3 – 4 years of experience in media planning and/or buying, ideally within an agency setting.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape across both traditional and digital channels.
- Proficiency in media planning and analytics tools (e.g., MediaOcean, Prisma, Meta Business Suite, TGI, Nielsen & Google Ads).
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Close attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Confident communicator with strong presentation skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and an enthusiastic team player.
