We are recruiting for a permanent Trade Mark Paralegal for our client, a leading specialist IP law firm in central London.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  • Managing incoming trade mark correspondence and docketing incoming communications.
  • Filing of trade marks at the UK IPO and WIPO and corresponding with foreign agents to instruct the filing of trade marks in various other jurisdictions.
  • Assistance in reporting filing and prosecution matters to clients.
  • Monitoring a term list of deadlines to ensure compliance.
  • Assistance with data reviews and cleansing, managing recordals and maintaining client records.
  • Producing cost estimates for clients.
  • Liaise with designated renewals team or external provider.

To make a successful application you will:

  • Have a keen attention to detail.
  • A strong level of trade mark knowledge.
  • Be familiar with maintaining records.
  • Be able to correspond confidently with attorneys and clients.
  • Be pro-active and keen to help by suggesting processes, highlighting, and suggesting resolutions to inefficiencies and be able to advise on rules/regulations.
  • CITMA desirable but not essential.
