Job Description

Trade Mark Paralegal – London

We are working with a specialist boutique IP law firm who are seeking a motivated Trade Mark Paralegal to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years Trade experience as a trade mark paralegal gained in a law firm or an in-house IP department who is looking to build on their skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting attorneys with the filing, prosecution, and maintenance of UK, EU, and international trade mark applications
  • Preparing and filing forms, official documents, and correspondence with IP offices
  • Monitoring deadlines and maintaining docketing records accurately
  • Liaising with clients, foreign associates, and IP offices
  • Generally assisting the department with improvements to their systems, processes and client care. You can really make an impact in this role as its a small department.

Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years experience in a trade mark paralegal or IP administrative role
  • Familiarity with trade mark filing and prosecution procedures
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using IP docketing systems is an advantage.
