A leading Intellectual Property firm is seeking a Patent Records & Formalities Administrator to join its established support team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, providing essential support to a busy patent practice across a broad range of UK and international matters.

The successful candidate will be involved in a wide variety of patent records and formalities activities, including UK, EP, PCT and foreign filing matters, EP grant procedures, renewals, and general portfolio administration.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within patent records, formalities, or patent administration.
  • Strong knowledge of patent prosecution procedures across UK, EP and international matters.
  • Experience using Inprotech is essential.
  • CIPA IPAC qualification would be advantageous but is not required.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
