Permanent Remote Patent Administrator We are recruiting on behalf of a leading intellectual property practice who are seeking a Permanent Senior Patent Administrator to support key clients and their portfolios within its patents team.
This is an excellent opportunity to manage the lifecycle of the patent applications from instruction through to completion.
As a Senior Administrator in the team you operate with a high level of autonomy and will provide support to other members of the IP support team.
The position is practically remote with office attendance only required one day every couple of months.
The firm have various regional offices.
Key Responsibilities Be responsible for managing the lifecycle of patent applications, including receiving instructions, setting up cases, managing emails and bills and adapting any processes to the client’s specific requirements where required.
Co-ordinate, support and coach other IP support staff, assist with appraisal and performance reviews.
Assist with the recruitment, onboarding and training of new IP support staff.
Oversee management of client portfolios and have responsibility for deadlines.
Liaise with clients to ensure professional high quality service.
Process emails, oversee invoicing for clients Organise own workload Key requirements: You will be CIPA qualified with previous experience working as a Patent Administrator.
You will have experience managing, coaching and developing other team members.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritise competing deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and flexible approach to work.
Confidence managing workloads independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
A genuine interest in learning and developing within the intellectual property sector.
