We are recruiting for a brand-new Permanent Patent Paralegal vacancy for an award-winning IP law firm based in Leeds. Working closely with 2-3 busy fee earners your duties will include:
- Preparing documents ready for online filing of UK, EPO and PCT Forms.
- Preparing correspondence and legal documentation accurately and with minimal supervision.
- Ensuring documents are stored correctly, understanding record procedures.
- Diary management.
- Taking ownership of inquiries resolving or escalating as appropriate.
- Organising and prioritising own workload.
- Building rapport with the firm's clients and building relationships with key contacts.
- Providing general support to other fee earners and colleagues when and where required.
- Add service and official fees to WIP, preparing invoices.
- Preparing standard reporting emails/letters to clients including filing reports, publication, acceptance and grant.
- Preparing foreign filing instructions and examination requests.
For this position the firm are looking for an experienced Patent Secretary or Patent Paralegal who can demonstrate a client-orientated approach working in a high performing role. The firm offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and hybrid working.
