Resourcing Consultant for IP Professionals
Patent Paralegal – Leeds
We are recruiting for a brand-new permanent Patent Paralegal vacancy for an award‑winning IP law firm that is evolving its Paralegal offering with a more client‑focused approach.
For this position the client is open to someone with any patent support background.
Responsibilities include:
- Review daily correspondence and diary entries
- Monitor and manage deadlines
- Prepare and file UK, EPO, and PCT applications and subsequent submissions
- Coordinate national phase entries and foreign filings
- Prepare examination requests and filing instructions
- Draft standard client communications (filing, publication, acceptance, and grant)
- Manage formalities, disclosures, and prior art records
- Prepare legal and procedural documentation
- Manage client procedures and working practices
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Record fees, manage WIP, prepare invoices, and issue billing
