A leading City law firm is seeking a Trainee Patent Paralegal to join its established Intellectual Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to begin a career in IP support within a top-tier legal environment.

The role

Providing administrative and procedural support to patent attorneys and fee earners

Assisting with patent filings, deadlines, and formalities

Maintaining accurate records and liaising with clients and external offices

Supporting the wider IP team with day-to-day operational tasks

The candidate

A recent graduate (any discipline considered)

Able to demonstrate a genuine interest in Intellectual Property, evidenced through academic modules and/or relevant work experience

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills

This role does not offer a route to qualification as a solicitor or patent attorney

Applicants must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK indefinitely

This role would suit a motivated graduate seeking long-term experience in IP administration within a prestigious City firm.
