An established and award-winning Managed Service Provider is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Senior Account Manager to join its growing sales and customer success function.
This role is centred around managing and developing a portfolio of infrastructure-focused customers, driving recurring revenue growth, and acting as a trusted advisor across a broad range of technology solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities across infrastructure, managed services, cloud, cyber security, and communications solutions.
Working closely with technical specialists and delivery teams, you will help customers align their technology investments with business objectives, ensuring solutions remain secure, scalable, and fit for purpose.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage and develop a portfolio of key infrastructure and technology accounts.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with customers at both technical and commercial levels.
- Conduct regular service reviews, account planning sessions, and strategic roadmap discussions.
- Drive recurring revenue growth through account expansion, renewals, and retention activities.
- Identify and develop opportunities across managed services, cloud, cyber security, and complementary technology solutions.
- Lead commercial discussions, contract renewals, and service amendments.
- Own the sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through to proposal, negotiation, and closure.
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to deliver successful infrastructure projects.
- Translate customer requirements into practical technology solutions and project outcomes.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout project delivery and service transitions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, client reports, and commercial documentation.
- Monitor hardware and software renewal schedules while proactively identifying upgrade opportunities.
- Advise customers on emerging technologies, infrastructure best practices, and security considerations.
- Support onboarding activities, discovery workshops, and infrastructure assessments for new customers.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in Account Management, IT Infrastructure Sales, or Managed Services environments.
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of growing recurring revenue streams.
- Experience managing customer relationships across infrastructure, cloud, networking, or managed services solutions.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Organised, proactive, and customer-focused approach to account management.
- Experience working alongside technical specialists and cross-functional teams to deliver complex solutions.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, IT services, or cloud-based environments.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
