A growing Managed Service Provider is looking for an ambitious and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its expanding commercial team. This is a high-energy, outbound-focused role designed to generate new business opportunities across Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, and Digital Transformation solutions. Acting as the first point of contact for prospective clients, you'll play a key role in building pipeline, creating engagement opportunities, and supporting overall business growth.
Working closely with Sales and Marketing teams, you'll be responsible for identifying decision-makers, generating interest, and booking qualified meetings for senior sales colleagues.
What You'll Be Doing
- Proactively identify and research prospective clients within target markets using LinkedIn, business databases, and market intelligence tools.
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities through cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling to generate new business opportunities.
- Qualify inbound inquiries and marketing-generated leads, ensuring they align with target customer profiles.
- Identify and map key stakeholders and decision-makers within prospective organizations.
- Schedule qualified meetings and discovery calls for senior members of the sales team.
- Clearly communicate the value of managed services, cybersecurity solutions, compliance services, and strategic IT consulting offerings.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities to support monthly and quarterly growth objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including activities, communications, notes, and next actions.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Sales Development, Business Development, Telemarketing, or Lead Generation role.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding activity and appointment-setting targets.
- Cold-calling experience, including objection handling and relationship building.
