The Role

This is a true Business Development Manager position with a balanced focus:

  • 50% new logo acquisition – identifying, engaging and winning new enterprise customers
  • 50% account development – working alongside Account Managers to unlock white space and drive cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts

You'll build strategic relationships, manage complex sales opportunities and position multi-pillar technology solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new logo acquisition across enterprise and upper mid-market organisations
  • Develop and execute targeted business development plans aligned to sector and solution strategy
  • Identify and maximise white space opportunities within existing customer accounts in collaboration with Account Managers
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles, from discovery and solution development through to commercial negotiation and close
  • Engage with C-level executives and senior stakeholders using a consultative, value-led sales approach
  • Work closely with Pre-Sales, Solution Architects, Projects and Operations to deliver compelling customer solutions
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting and pipeline management
  • Achieve and exceed new business and revenue growth targets

What We're Looking For

  • Proven new business sales experience within IT, Managed Services, Connectivity or Cyber Security
  • Strong track record of winning new logos and closing complex technology solutions
  • Experience selling into enterprise or upper mid-market organisations
  • Commercially astute with the ability to identify, develop and close strategic opportunities
  • Confident engaging with C-suite and senior decision-makers
  • Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable managing long, consultative sales cycles
  • Full UK driving licence
