Project Field Engineer – MS Modern Workplace / MSP – Hybrid Manchester with travel to client sites across the UK. This role is for engineers at upper 2nd line / service desk level looking to progress into projects.

The Role
Deliver end-to-end Modern Workplace, cloud, and IT transformation projects. Responsibilities include:
- Deploying Intune policies, setting up SSIDs on access points, VLANs, firewall ports, and basic routing & switching
- DNS migrations and other infrastructure upgrades
- Racking and stacking hardware on client sites
- Field service support and mentoring junior engineers
- Contributing to process improvements and project delivery standards
You’ll Bring
- Upper 2nd line or service desk experience with exposure to IT projects
- Strong Microsoft Modern Workplace knowledge (Windows, M365, Intune)
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, firewalls, switching, wireless
