We partner with clients across ground-to-cloud infrastructure, helping ensure their connectivity, network operations, and security are robust, modern, and easy to manage. As the demand for resilient and secure networks continues to rise, we’re expanding our Network Operations team and looking to bring on four talented individuals ready to develop their skills and contribute to high-impact infrastructure projects.
Position

- Reporting to: Head of Network Operations / Lead Network Support
What You’ll Do
As a Level 1 Engineer:
- Provide first line support for networking issues – fielding tickets, troubleshooting connectivity, basic configuration support.
- Monitor network health, performance & alerts.
- Assist with on-site / remote configuration changes under guidance.
- Escalate more complex issues to Level 2 / senior engineers.
- Maintain documentation of network processes, incidents, and resolution steps.
As a Level 2 Engineer:
- Handle more complex support requests: routing, switching, firewall basics, VPNs, network segmentation.
- Perform configuration of network devices, carry out changes with minimal disruption.
- Lead small projects / network change requests.
- Work with senior engineers to design, test, and deploy network enhancements.
- Provide mentorship/advice to Level 1 engineers.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Must-haves (for both levels):
- Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, network troubleshooting fundamentals.
- Experience (or willingness to learn) with routing & switching (e.g. VLANs, basic OSPF/ EIGRP / static routing).
- Familiarity with firewalls, remote access / VPN technologies.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment; some flexibility for shift cover / site visits may be required.
- More hands-on experience in device configuration (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools; experience with configuration changes, patching, firmware upgrades.
- Understanding of high availability, redundancy, and network security best practices.
- Comfortable with documentation of HLD/LLD style tasks, change control.
- Level 1 Salary: approx. £26,000-£28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Level 2 Salary: approx. £32,000-£35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
