We're supporting a fast-growing Managed Services & Technology business currently on an aggressive growth journey through acquisition, with plans to acquire multiple businesses over the next few years. As part of that growth, they're looking to hire a People Operations & HR Manager to help build structure, consistency and operational maturity across the group as the business scales.
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their career long term within a scaling technology/MSP environment, with a clear pathway into future Head of People / HR Director level responsibility as the organisation expands. The business currently sits around 60–70 employees and is expected to scale significantly through M&A activity over the coming years. They're therefore looking for somebody comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment where people processes, culture and operational structure need to continuously mature alongside growth.
The role will take ownership across the full employee lifecycle and day-to-day people operation, including:
- HR operations and administration
- Recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
- Performance management, one-to-ones and appraisal processes
- Employee relations and wellbeing
- HR systems, reporting and people data
- Policy, compliance and process ownership
- Supporting managers with performance processes, accountability and people development frameworks
- Supporting leadership development and succession planning
- Helping integrate acquired businesses into standardised people processes and culture frameworks
- Supporting engagement initiatives, company culture and retention strategies
You'll work closely with senior leadership and play a key role helping shape the people function as the wider group continues to grow through acquisition.
The business is looking for someone who is:
- Comfortable operating within a technology, MSP, telecoms or service provider environment
- Process-driven but personable
- Organised, proactive and commercially aware
- Comfortable building trust across different personalities and teams
- Happy operating in a hands-on environment where no two days look the same
- Interested in long-term progression and helping shape a growing business
Previous experience within MSP, managed services, telecoms or broader technology environments would be highly beneficial. This role would suit somebody looking to step into a broader operational HR/People role with genuine autonomy, visibility and progression opportunity as the business scales over the coming years.
