We’re supporting a growing technology services business in the search for a Resource Manager to join their technical delivery function. This role sits at the centre of projects, engineering, and operational delivery, ensuring technical resources are planned effectively across network, cloud, and infrastructure programmes.

You’ll be responsible for balancing delivery demand, forecasting capacity, coordinating engineering allocation, and helping create a more predictable and sustainable delivery environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone from a PMO, delivery coordination, resource planning, or technical operations background who enjoys bringing structure and visibility to fast-moving technical teams.

The Role - Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing day-to-day allocation of technical resource across projects and operational work
  • Maintaining visibility of current utilisation and future capacity
  • Supporting forecasting and demand planning across engineering teams
  • Working closely with Project Managers and Technical Leads to align delivery plans with real-world capacity
  • Identifying resource conflicts, delivery risks, and resourcing gaps early
  • Producing reporting and insight for senior leadership
  • Supporting a balanced and sustainable approach to delivery planning

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced within resource management, PMO, delivery coordination, or workforce planning
  • Comfortable working within technical delivery environments such as networks, cloud, infrastructure, or managed services
  • Highly organised, analytical, and commercially aware
  • Confident managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations
  • Calm under pressure and comfortable making difficult prioritisation decisions
  • Strong with planning/reporting tools, spreadsheets, and delivery tracking
