Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Sales Professional looking for the next big opportunity in the Technology Service Provider space.
A Player Manager with 5+ years’ experience leading sales teams within the IT Managed Services industry, alongside a proven background in selling managed services, professional services, software and infrastructure solutions.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on sales involvement. You will build strong customer relationships, identify opportunities to upsell and cross‑sell specialist solutions, and ensure your team consistently delivers against agreed revenue targets and KPIs. You will also play a key role in shaping sales strategy and driving sustainable growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Ensure the sales team is structured and supported to achieve tiered revenue targets.
- Contribute to wider commercial planning and go‑to‑market strategy.
- Maintain effective personal pipeline management with clear KPI ownership.
- Oversee team pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and deal progression.
- Coach, mentor and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Foster a high‑performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Performance Monitoring
- Analyse sales performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Implement corrective actions to improve results and drive consistent execution.
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across managed services, VDI, hyperconverged infrastructure, HPC and AI.
- Support the team in winning new customers while expanding existing accounts through upsell and cross‑sell.
Reporting & Governance
- Ensure effective use of CRM systems for forecasting, activity tracking and opportunity planning.
- Provide senior leadership with clear reporting on sales performance, customer needs and market trends.
- Ensure the sales function operates in line with ISO security policies and procedures, supporting audit activities where required.
Communication
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, partners and internal stakeholders in both written and verbal form.

- Strong track record of selling managed services, infrastructure, VDI and professional services.
