The Role
This is a strategic, growth-focused Account Director role operating across enterprise and upper mid-market organisations (500+ seats).
- 90% Account Management & Growth
- Owning and expanding a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise customers
- Unlocking whitespace and driving Secure Networking & SASE expansion
- Building long-term, multi-year strategic account plans
- Winning new logos aligned to secure networking and network transformation strategy
- Driving proactive pipeline generation within defined sectors or territories
This is not a transactional sales role. It is consultative, commercially driven and relationship-led, focused on delivering measurable transformation and recurring revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Growth & Strategic Development (Primary Focus)
- Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise and upper mid-market accounts
- Identify and convert whitespace opportunities across:
- SD-WAN
- SASE / SSE
- Secure Access / Zero Trust
- Network modernisation
- Managed networking services
- Develop and execute targeted new logo acquisition plans
- Identify enterprise prospects aligned to Secure Networking & SASE strategy
- Lead consultative discovery engagements focused on transformation outcomes
- Shape complex, multi-solution propositions in collaboration with Pre-Sales and Solution Architects
- Own full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Achieve and exceed new business and growth revenue targets
What We’re Looking For
- Proven success in IT, Managed Services, Connectivity, Networking or Cyber Security environments
- Experience with either/both SASE or SD-WAN
- Strong track record of growing existing accounts through penetration and whitespace development
- Experience winning new logos within enterprise or upper mid-market (500+ seat) organisations
- Strong understanding of SD-WAN, SASE, secure networking or managed network services
- Comfortable leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation capability
- Confident engaging at C-suite level
- Structured, organised and target-driven
- Full UK driving licence
