Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build and maintain a variety of robust, production-grade software systems.
  • Deliver well-structured, maintainable code as part of a collaborative engineering team.
  • Work closely with product development and teams across the business to translate requirements into pragmatic solutions.
  • Contribute to code reviews and be open to feedback to continuously improve code quality.
  • Help ensure systems are reliable, observable, scalable, and secure in production.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions across services, data, and integrations.
  • Support the modernisation of legacy systems alongside new feature development.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
  • At least 3 years of production software development experience.
  • A team-focused attitude and a genuine passion for technology, whether through professional curiosity, continuous learning, or side projects.
  • Ability to understand system design and explain technical decisions with support.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with clear but evolving requirements.
  • Demonstrably strong knowledge of:
  • Golang
  • Cloud-native software design
  • AWS or another cloud provider
  • Containerisation
  • Devops principles including CI/CD and infrastructure as code
  • SQL and NoSQL databases
  • The internet and web protocols (HTTP/DNS/TCP-IP)
  • Great If You Have:
    • .NET / C# experience
    • Full stack experience
    • Competency in other programming languages
    • Experience in the intellectual property or brand protection space
