Key Responsibilities- Design, build and maintain a variety of robust, production-grade software systems.
- Deliver well-structured, maintainable code as part of a collaborative engineering team.
- Work closely with product development and teams across the business to translate requirements into pragmatic solutions.
- Contribute to code reviews and be open to feedback to continuously improve code quality.
- Help ensure systems are reliable, observable, scalable, and secure in production.
- Contribute to architectural decisions across services, data, and integrations.
- Support the modernisation of legacy systems alongside new feature development.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- At least 3 years of production software development experience.
- A team-focused attitude and a genuine passion for technology, whether through professional curiosity, continuous learning, or side projects.
- Ability to understand system design and explain technical decisions with support.
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with clear but evolving requirements.
- Demonstrably strong knowledge of:
- Golang
- Cloud-native software design
- AWS or another cloud provider
- Containerisation
- Devops principles including CI/CD and infrastructure as code
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- The internet and web protocols (HTTP/DNS/TCP-IP)
- .NET / C# experience
- Full stack experience
- Competency in other programming languages
- Experience in the intellectual property or brand protection space
