Overview of the Role:
- Due diligence activities including pre-employment screening investigations, education and employment verification and exec due diligence
- Undertaking a variety of investigations on behalf of clients, including asset tracing, fraud investigations and source intelligence investigations
- Coordinating covert approaches, site visits and research
- Producing written reports for clients, ensuring they are produced to a high standard
- A range of activities relating to intellectual property investigations, including in relation to trademarks, domain and company name investigations, copyright and patent infringements, test purchases and brand/market surveys
- Mentor, train, and support more junior colleagues
- Leading complex investigations from scoping through to delivery, ensuring appropriate methodologies and compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Acting as a primary point of contact for key clients, managing relationships, providing strategic advice, and presenting findings in a clear and commercially relevant manner
- Overseeing case strategy and quality assurance of investigative outputs, ensuring consistency, accuracy and adherence to best practice across the team
- Supporting business development activities, including contributing to proposals, pitches and identifying new investigative opportunities
- Associated administrative duties as required
- Attending relevant industry conferences, exhibitions and seminars
What You’ll Bring:
- Previous experience in research, including undertaken as part of a degree
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities is essential
- Investigatory experience would be desirable but not essential
- Line management and mentoring teams, desirable
- Strong communication skills including the ability to produce high quality client reports is essential
- The ability to understand, analyse and communicate findings and data is essential
- Experience using OSINT is essential
- Adaptable, resilient and able to work at pace
