About IP Builders Brickwork LTD

At IP Builders Brickwork LTD, we take pride in delivering high-quality brickwork and construction services across the UK. Built on trust, reliability, and craftsmanship, we are a company that values hard work, loyalty, and people who want to grow with us.

As our business continues to expand, we are looking for a dependable and motivated HGV Driver / Transport Operative to become a key part of our operations team. This is more than just a driving role — it’s an opportunity to join a respected and growing construction business where your contribution genuinely matters.

Please Read Before Applying

This is a hands-on operational role and not solely a driving position. Alongside professional HGV driving duties, you will also be expected to:

  • Support yard operations when required
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and organising materials
  • Help maintain stock control and site logistics
  • Take pride in vehicle care, deliveries, and company equipment

If you are looking purely for a driving-only role, this may not be the right fit. However, you will never be expected to manage everything alone. We work as a team, support one another, and provide the tools needed to succeed. For the right candidate, there is genuine opportunity for progression as the company continues to grow.

The Role

You will play an important role in keeping projects running smoothly by transporting materials, supporting logistics, and assisting operational activities across our construction sites and yards. This is a varied role where no two days are the same.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Carrying out internal deliveries between company sites
  • Delivering materials to clients and suppliers
  • Operating HGV and company vehicles safely and professionally
  • Supporting loading and unloading activities
  • Assisting with yard operations and material organisation
  • Managing and controlling stock/equipment on sites
  • Following all health & safety procedures and company standards

Future Base: Dartford Yard – Erith 48 Wallhouse Road, Dartford, Erith DA8 2SP

Travel to various construction sites will also be required.

  • Company-issued work tablet
  • Flexible pay options (monthly or bi-weekly)

  • Stable, long-term employment
  • Consistent hours and reliable earnings
  • Annual performance reviews
  • Opportunity for career progression

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid HGV Licence (Class 1 or Class 2)
  • Valid CPC qualification
  • Good understanding of UK driving laws and safety standards
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Willingness to assist with operational and yard duties when required

Preferred:
