IoT Tribe is seeking a Programme Manager to lead the operational delivery of one of the UK's most influential defence and dual-use innovation programmes, alongside a growing network of government, industry, investors and academic partners. Our flagship Janus accelerator, identifies, supports and accelerates dual-use technologies that strengthen UK and NATO defence capability, fostering a vibrant innovation ecosystem.
We are looking for a proactive and highly collaborative Programme Manager to lead the successful delivery and continuous improvement of the Janus programme, creating measurable value for participants and stakeholders.
This is a high-profile role requiring someone who as comfortable engaging founders as senior military leaders, government officials, investors, academics and corporate executives.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the Janus programme and its evolution.
Key Responsibilities include
- Manage the delivery of the programme including NATO DIANA, the Growth Capability Programme, and A Vibrant Innovation Space (AVIS) from our White City premises.
- Proactively drive the activity required to meet all programme targets, including those related to facilities management, and monitor and report on performance.
- Oversee the design and delivery of a programme of high-profile ecosystem events including showcase days, investor engagements, networking events, workshops and industry roundtables.
- Work closely with programme delivery teams to ensure participating companies receive access to the networks, expertise and opportunities to accelerate growth.
- Build and maintain working relationships with the client to ensure improvements are identified and incorporated as needed.
- Deputise for the Director of Operations where required.
- Contribute to IoT Tribe’s growth agenda and targets when required.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications

- Experience delivering defence innovation or capability programmes or projects within the industry.
- Experience designing and delivering high-quality stakeholder engagement activities and events.

- Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to establish credibility and trust with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of the emerging technology landscape and the pathways through which innovation is adopted.
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
