The quality manager will oversee and lead quality management systems and best practices. Working to meet all certification standards and customer requirements, both locally and globally. This role is critical to advancing the business by implementing changes to meet the growing demands for higher service levels.
Scope of the Role
- Identify and help manage quality and business management system objectives and key results across the business.
- Collaborate with functional heads to establish plans and conduct management reviews.
- Continuously review business processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and drive efficiency improvements.
- Communicate requirements effectively throughout the supply chain.
- Conduct supplier audits from a customer-focused perspective.
- Develop and lead internal audit programs globally and manage third-party system compliance audits (ISO/CE/SEI/CSA/TUV/NIOSH/BSI).
- Provide consultation and coaching on quality function deployment (QFD), FMEAs, control plans, and standard operational systems.
- Analyse and manage data for monthly reviews.
- Complete customer and supplier surveys and questionnaires, ensuring adherence to contract requirements and online systems.
- Develop and implement quality plans, configuration plans, and procedures for bids and contracts.
- Mentor and develop quality team members.
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement activities.
