Our client, a leading manufacturer within their sector, is known for their commitment to innovation, quality, and safety. They operate in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment located in the Uxbridge area. My client is currently seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Manager to join their team and lead their QMS function to improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing the Quality systems and practices within the organisation. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a busy manufacturing environment. You will manage a team of three direct reports and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, health, and environmental compliance are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain quality system ISO9001 (implementing, maintaining, developing, and improving)
  • Oversee HSE policies and procedures managing HSE team
  • Ensure product quality meets and exceeds industry standards.
  • Manage health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure a safe workplace.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections for QSHE compliance.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to improve staff competence and awareness.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and non-conformities, implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Quality experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally machine shop or assembly environment.
  • Proven team management and development experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Quality regulations and standards (ISO9001)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
