Role: Sustainability Business Partner
Location: Birmingham, Hybrid, working from home and office location 40/60 split

HSE Recruitment Network are exclusively recruiting for a Sustainability Business Partner, with the opportunity to lead a progressive multinational company committed to sustainability.
A key role supporting the business to ensure sustainability processes are established, implemented and developed throughout all aspects of operation.
Main Responsibilities:
• Be the expert and promote innovation through Environmental sustainability, including; waste, energy/carbon, water, responsible sourcing of materials, sustainable buildings, and business practices
• Lead data capture and analysis, to determine sustainability strategy
• Lead Sustainability engagement with key stakeholders, employees, suppliers, local communities, and customers.
• Horizon scan for emerging innovation, trends, and legislative changes to mitigate risk and maximise opportunities.
• Supporting management teams to identify pragmatic solutions and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and support the delivery of SBTs relevant to the business strategy.
• Lead business risk assessment and continuity planning.
Essential Experience, Training and Qualifications:
• Knowledge of key sustainability principles
• Sustainability / Environmental based qualification
• Knowledge of risk management / project management

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with gravitas and ability to influence, and lead
• Open minded in approach
• Credibility – Comprehensive knowledge of sustainability
