Following a period of strong growth, they are now looking for a driven and commercially sharp Sales Executive to join their team in London and take ownership of new business development across the corporate segment.
The OpportunityThis is a pure new business role — a genuine hunter position for someone who thrives on building pipeline, opening doors and converting complex enterprise deals. You will be targeting corporate treasury and finance functions directly, engaging with Group Treasurers, CFOs, Heads of Cash Management and Financial Controllers at mid-market and enterprise-level organisations.
The product sells itself to the right buyer. Your job is to find them, earn their trust and guide them through a considered buying process — with the full support of a pre-sales and implementation team behind you.
What You Will Be Doing- Owning the full new business sales cycle — from prospecting and qualification through to commercial negotiation and close
- Identifying and targeting mid-market and enterprise corporates with a genuine need for treasury management technology
- Engaging senior stakeholders including Group Treasurers, CFOs, Finance Directors and Heads of Cash Management
- Building a disciplined, well-qualified pipeline across sectors including manufacturing, retail, energy, utilities and professional services
- Attending industry events, treasury conferences and networking forums to build market presence and generate new opportunities
- Working closely with pre-sales, product and implementation teams to deliver compelling, tailored proposals
- Feeding market intelligence back to product and leadership teams to help shape go-to-market strategy
- Demonstrable success in a new business sales role within treasury management software, TMS platforms, cash management technology or adjacent FinTech
- Understanding of corporate treasury operations — cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, FX exposure management, bank connectivity and payment workflows
- Experience engaging with Group Treasurers, CFOs or senior finance stakeholders through a complex, multi-touch sales process
- A structured, consultative sales approach — you understand the problem before you present the solution
- Familiarity with treasury management systems
- Strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills and the resilience to build a book from the ground up
- 5+ years of B2B enterprise software sales experience, ideally within FinTech, treasury technology or financial software
