We are currently recruiting for an organised and efficient Publishing Services Assistant to join our Publishing Operations team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. This is an entry level role and would be a perfect fit for someone looking for their first role in the publishing industry.
Role Summary
The Publishing Operations team is responsible for managing the peer review process on our journals. The Publishing Services Assistant is on the front line in terms of delivering this service.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to customer queries;
- Ensure timely and efficient movement of articles through the publication process;
- Ensure that permission and copyright agreements are received and accurate;
- Updating the peer review database promptly and accurately.
