We are seeking an exceptional Senior Executive Assistant to lead our Executive Assistant function and provide high‑quality support to our Chief Executive.

This role requires an experienced EA who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about enabling senior leaders to perform at their best.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will be the trusted partner to the CEO, ensuring the smooth operation of the CEO Office while leading a team of three Executive Assistants who support our Executive Directors and senior leadership team.

You will play a key role in managing priorities, coordinating governance activities, overseeing budgets and objectives, supporting strategic projects, and ensuring the highest standards of executive support across the organisation.

  • What you’ll be doing
  • Executive Support
  • Act as a trusted advisor and right‑hand partner to the CEO
  • Manage a complex and ever‑changing schedule, ensuring focus on strategic priorities
  • Coordinate meetings, events, travel and correspondence
  • Draft, review and edit communications on behalf of the CEO
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and externally
  • Leadership of the EA Function
  • Lead, support and develop a team of three Executive Assistants
  • Set objectives, conduct performance reviews and coach team members
  • Drive continuous improvement and technology‑enabled ways of working
  • Promote a high‑performing, collaborative EA community across the organisation
  • Business & Operational Support
  • Support the CEO with budget management, objective setting and KPI tracking
  • Review management information and monitor key business metrics
  • Work closely with Finance colleagues to ensure effective budget oversight and financial compliance
  • Projects & Governance
  • Lead and coordinate special projects for the CEO Office
  • Conduct research and prepare briefings, reports and presentations
  • Provide governance and secretariat support for Board and Executive meetings
  • Maintain corporate records, registers and governance processes

About you

We’re looking for someone who combines outstanding organisational skills with strong business awareness and leadership capability.

  • Significant experience providing executive‑level support in a complex organisation
  • Previous experience managing and developing people
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management capability
  • Experience working with budgets, financial information and reporting
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • The ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion

This role is based in our Bristol office, with an expectation of at least two days per week onsite and quarterly visits to the London office.
