We are seeking a Process Operator to join our Operations Team to support the running of our Demonstration Plant based on Belfast Harbour Estate.
This role reports into the Demonstration Plant Manager.

Based in Belfast, we have scaled up a world-first technology to recycle permanent magnets into critical Rare Earth Oxides at our Demonstration Plant.
As a subsidiary of ASX-listed Ionic Rare Earths Ltd, which holds major global assets across Uganda and Brazil, we are expanding rapidly with plans to launch commercial operations in Belfast and the USA.

What you will do: Plant
Operations: Support the day-to-day operations of the Demonstration Plant, working standard office hours or shift patterns as dictated by production requirements.
Maintenance & Calibration: Perform front-line maintenance activities, prepare plant equipment for scheduled maintenance, and conduct routine calibration of plant instruments.
Process
Monitoring: Monitor, sample, and accurately record plant variables and process results to ensure optimal functionality.
Diagnostics & Optimisation: Carry out fault diagnosis across the process line and actively support plant and equipment optimisation exercises.
Health & Safety: Follow all Risk Assessments and Work Instructions meticulously.
Ensure all work is executed in strict accordance with company protocols and regulatory Health and Safety requirements.
What youll bring: Experience working with industrial or process plant equipment.
Good chemical awareness and a strong focus on health and safety.
A self-motivated and resourceful approach to finding and fixing problems.
A strong sense of accountability and the resilience to handle challenges.
A great team player who communicates well and enjoys engaging with colleagues.
A willingness to learn new skills and processes.
A forklift licence is a plus, but not essential.
