Ionic Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Administrator / Office Manager on behalf of our client who is a regional construction contractor.

Our client is looking to appoint a highly capable and proactive Senior Administrator / Office Manager to join their team. This role would suit someone solutions-focused, enthusiastic, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You will act as the organisational backbone—ensuring the smooth running of administrative operations and supporting senior leadership as an Executive Assistant when required. This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary of £25,000–£35,000 depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support across the business, particularly to HR and executive leadership.
  • Manage office operations including diaries, scheduling, facilities, and supplies.
  • Support with onboarding, documentation, and HR coordination.
  • Act as a central point of contact for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain internal systems and ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance office efficiency.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a senior administration, office management, or executive assistant role.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive, proactive, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong IT skills across Microsoft Office and internal systems.
