Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE + £4,000 Car Allowance & Benefits

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a major residential retrofit and decarbonisation project in Manchester.

The project consists of 312 homes across four 15-storey tower blocks and low-rise terraced properties, with extensive works being carried out to improve the energy efficiency and overall performance of the properties.

This particular position will take day-to-day responsibility for the low-rise terraced property refurbishments, making it ideally suited to a Site Manager with strong experience in residential retrofit, external works and decarbonisation projects.

The Role

You will manage the day-to-day site operation, coordinating subcontractors, labour, materials and plant while ensuring works remain on programme and are completed safely and to the required quality standards.

You will take responsibility for health & safety, site documentation, logistics and progress reporting, while working closely with the wider project and commercial teams. You will also proactively resolve site issues and ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous Site Management experience within residential retrofit/decarbonisation, particularly EWI, cladding replacement and external façades
  • Strong experience managing subcontractors, labour and site operations
  • Excellent health & safety, quality and programme management skills

Experience working within occupied residential environments or large-scale social housing refurbishment projects would be particularly relevant.

The role offers a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience, plus a £4,000 annual car allowance and comprehensive benefits package.

Benefits include 26 days' holiday plus bank holidays and Christmas shutdown, private healthcare, enhanced pension contributions, life assurance at 3x salary, salary sacrifice car scheme, holiday buy/sell options, additional annual leave for length of service, employee discounts, wellbeing support and a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme.
