A growing drainage services provider based in Greater Manchester is looking for an experienced Reactive Drainage Engineer to join its expanding team. The company delivers fast, reliable, and expert drainage solutions across the North West, Staffordshire, and West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled drainage professional who enjoys problem-solving and delivering high-quality work in a varied, hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and resolving drainage issues quickly and effectively
- Carrying out high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ) and CCTV drain inspections
- Operating and maintaining company vehicles and specialist equipment
- Delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality drainage solutions
- Completing digital job reports and documentation accurately
- Providing clear communication and excellent customer service on every job
- Participating in an on-call rota with enhanced pay for out-of-hours work
- Ensuring full compliance with all health and safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in drainage engineering
- Experience with HPWJ and CCTV surveys
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Willingness to work overtime and participate in the on-call rota
Location Preference
Ideally based in South or East Greater Manchester, South or East Cheshire, or North Staffordshire.
