We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Operative to work across a portfolio of commercial buildings in Leeds City Centre. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day maintenance, safety and presentation of shared spaces and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards across entrances, grounds and communal areas
  • Prepare meeting rooms and serviced spaces ready for customer use
  • Carry out opening and locking up of buildings where required
  • Complete vacant suite checks and general building inspections
  • Carry out planned maintenance tasks including fire testing, water temperature checks and emergency lighting checks
  • Monitor and complete maintenance jobs across the buildings
  • Identify and act on immediate health & safety concerns
  • Support with general facilities and maintenance duties as required

Requirements:

  • Previous facilities, maintenance or caretaker experience preferred
  • Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable and flexible approach to work
  • Full training provided where required

Pay & Duration:

£17.00 per hour, 3+ weeks work, Immediate start
