Position: Electrical Contracts Manager

Location: Wigan (Office-based with occasional site visits)

Salary: £42,000 – £50,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Benefits: Company vehicle + fuel card (business use only), 22 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, contributory pension scheme

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Contracts Manager to join a fast-growing maintenance and construction company based in Wigan. You’ll play a key role in managing a regional engineering team, delivering day-to-day maintenance and project works across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor both office-based and regional engineering teams
  • Ensure health and safety compliance, including RAMS preparation
  • Respond to customer enquiries and resolve concerns promptly
  • Meet with clients, assess work, quote, and manage delivery within budget
  • Analyse reports and contribute to improvements in KPIs and work practices
  • Maintain quality control across engineering and subcontractor outputs
  • Support the Contract Support Team with system and process updates
  • Validate test certificates
  • Occasional site visits required
