We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Joiner to work on Social Housing repairs and maintenance contracts across Blackpool. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability for the right candidate.
The Role
Working within the Social Housing sector, you will be carrying out reactive repairs and planned maintenance in occupied properties. Duties will include:
- General joinery repairs
- Kitchen and bathroom repairs
- Door hanging and adjustments
- Skirting, architraves and flooring
- Minor multi-trade works where required
- Working in tenanted properties with professionalism and care
- Updating job progress using a PDA device
Requirements
- Proven experience in Social Housing repairs (essential)
- Strong multi-skilled joinery background
- Experience using a PDA device for job updates (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools
- Excellent customer service skills when working in occupied homes
