IONETIC is a battery technology start-up based in Brackley, just a few miles from Silverstone—the heart of British motorsport. We specialise in battery pack solutions for low-volume electrified applications, including buses, sports cars, and other vehicles. By integrating proprietary software, mechanical design, and manufacturing technologies into a single technology stack we call Arc, we deliver custom battery systems that meet a wide range of energy, power, and lifecycle requirements. Our chemistry-agnostic, scalable designs are built to accelerate the journey to net zero for our customers.
As part of the procurement team, you will play a key part in the organisation helping bring to life the capabilities to meet the demands of a new tier one supplier for the Electrified application market. This includes establishing a new supply chain that can support the growing demand from prototype to series production for our markets including automotive. While we mature as an organisation, an additional part of the role is having responsibility for organising inventory and supporting the smooth operation of our stores area.
- Develop and maintain quality management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other relevant standards (including collaboration with other teams on ISO-14001 and ISO-45001).
- Define project-specific quality requirements and create quality plans to meet regulatory and customer standards.
- Work with Design and manufacturing to develop and maintain program/project activities including DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, and audits.
- Support document control processes, ensuring compliance with quality management system documentation requirements.
- Track and analyse quality metrics, providing reports and recommendations to management for quality improvements.
- Participate in quality training programs, providing guidance on QMS requirements to employees across the organisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality initiatives and drive process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work within cross-functional teams and present findings to project stakeholders.
- Proficiency in risk assessment and problem-solving tools, such as FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis.
- Demonstrable experience in quality systems or quality engineering, with hands-on experience in QMS implementation.
- Proven experience supporting quality management system development and improvement efforts, with strong project management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and quality reporting, with in-depth knowledge of document control practices.
