Responsibilities
- Plan and execute projects using ION’s delivery methodology, ensuring teams and customers meet their tasks, deliver outcomes, and gain sign‑off at key milestones.
- Collaborate with teams and clients to define clear roles and responsibilities and agree on optimal working arrangements throughout the project.
- Co‑design a delivery plan that aligns project outputs with client expectations and team capabilities.
- Secure appropriate resources and expertise for each project based on availability and delivery targets.
- Implement risk, issue and change management processes to identify and resolve problems during the project lifecycle.
- Generate and deliver reporting to project executives, directors and clients to provide trackable progress and insight.
- Monitor time and quality targets, taking corrective action as required.
- Track financial and quality objectives to ensure commercial targets are met and corrective actions are taken, while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and contribute to the evolution of ION’s delivery methodology.
- Report to project executive leadership and lead issue resolution, planning and guidance.
- Provide line management to project managers, coaching and developing the team to improve delivery quality.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in project management.
- Experience using project‑management software.
- Understanding of basic commercial and revenue models, centred around invoicing, revenue recognition, margin, costs and variance analysis.
- Competence in different project methodologies.
- Experience delivering on a multi‑customer portfolio is desirable.
- Exemplary project‑management delivery and engagement skills with a strong understanding of the delivery process lifecycle.
- Exceptional leadership, time‑management, facilitation and organisational skills.
- Past stakeholder‑management experience with confidence and gravitas in front of clients, project teams and third parties.
- Experience supporting the development of junior team members is desirable.
