The Role

In this role, you will focus on the deployment, maintenance, and onboarding to our Core ERP systems, NetSuite and SAP. These mission-critical systems serve as a major intersection point between our financial processes, data, and people, making them essential components of our successful finance function. You will work within our Core ERP team to deliver robust technological solutions that meet the needs of our large finance user base.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver / Develop: Help implement new or improve existing technological solutions within ION’s core finance applications landscape to support the evolving needs of all ION’s central finance and commercial functions.
• Support / Enhance: Provide support to all users within ION Group’s core finance applications through end-user training, ongoing technical support, and fulfilling system enhancement requests from our reporting teams.
• Onboard / Integrate: Assist in onboarding newly acquired businesses to our existing finance applications and integrating inherited applications into our core landscape.
• Risk & Controls: Support the implementation of a governance and controls framework across ION’s core financial applications to enable the Group to rely fully on IT general controls for audits.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• Bachelor\’s degree in Accounting or Business
• 1-3 years of post-qualification experience
• Experience working in project-based or deadline-driven environments, with finance transformation projects being a significant advantage
• Strong understanding of standard industry business practices related to accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Invoicing)
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with strategic and creative thinking to transform processes and organizations

Preferred Qualifications

• CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualification is highly desirable
• Strong critical thinking skills to develop solutions across various situations
• Proficiency in business analytics and IT literacy to propose and implement solutions
• Experience with or management of cloud-based ERP systems, particularly NetSuite ERP or SAP, is a major advantage
