The Role: The ION Markets Sales and Account management team is a global group of experienced Sales, Account Management, pre-sales, and Sales Operations professionals who collaborate closely with all areas of the organization, in a team-selling environment. Sales and Account managers are responsible for:1. Retention of our customer base, building trusted relationships that drive customer success, enable upsell opportunities, and cultivate satisfied clients to develop long term collaboration2. Expand allocated account portfolio through cross selling into existing clients or onboard new logo to the organization. Main responsibility is to achieve the annual allocated budget and to act as a primary point of contact on all account matters for a portfolio of ION Markets customers. These will primarily be a combination of banks and financial institutions. For each of your customers, Sales and Account managers are responsible for gaining a full knowledge of customer business drivers, budget cycle, operations and their current use of ION products to gain the maximum possible value from their investment. In addition, Sales and Account managers should actively understand prospect client needs and identify the best solution to address the client needs.Finally, the Sales and Account managers act as the final point of escalation and overlook the overall customer relationship with existing customers.
