Role
We are seeking a talented AWS developer with 1-2 years of commercial experience to join our development team in Newcastle upon Tyne. The candidate will have a strong background in Amazon Web Services and possess some front-end skills that enable them to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. This role focuses on building robust integrations across numerous technology platforms across the education sector. You will collaborate closely with our teams across the business to deliver exceptional user experiences for our clients in the education sector.
Please note, this role requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the Newcastle office. You must be a resident of Great Britain and not require visa sponsorship.
What Youll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain web applications using AWS services and modern technologies.
- Work across the stack to build reliable, scalable integrations.
- Support front-end development using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and frameworks like React or Vue.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define technical requirements and deliver on them.
- Optimise application performance for speed and scalability.
- Follow best practices in code quality, testing, documentation, and version control.
What You Will Bring
- 1-2 years of experience in AWS development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
