A globally recognised manufacturer of critical aerospace components is urgently seeking 2 CNC Turners to support a surge in demand on a 13-week contract.
The Role
- To support project requirements, you'll be turning parts in Inconel with use machine tools with Fanuc controllers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading tooling to carry out machining operations.
- Working to fine tolerances across a range of materials.
- Performing visual and dimensional inspections.
- Using precision measuring equipment (shadowgraph, gauges, verniers).
- Operating one or more CNC machines simultaneously.
- Ensuring all products meet customer and internal standards (including NADCAP and AS9100).
What We're Looking For
- You'll be a skilled, detail-focused engineer with experience in precision manufacturing.
- Essential:
- Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship or equivalent).
- Minimum 6 years experience in a precision manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred but not essential).
- Strong experience with Fanuc controls.
- Ability to work to tight tolerances and strict quality standards.
- Experience working to production targets.
- Self-inspection with use of hand tools, eg micrometers, vernier calipers.
