Our client, a renowned industry leader in aerospace manufacturing based in Sheffield, is seeking a precision-focused TIG Welder to join their talented team. What You’ll Do As a TIG Welder in this innovative environment, you’ll: * Apply your precision welding skills to exotic metals, working with components as thin as 1mm * Operate sophisticated semi-automated welding equipment for circumferential and longitudinal welds * Interpret technical drawings and welding symbols to ensure flawless execution * Maintain the highest quality standards meeting NADCAP and AS9100 requirements * Collaborate across departments to optimize workflow and ensure timely project completion * Identify and resolve welding issues, from equipment maintenance to material challenges * Document your work meticulously, contributing to quality control processes What You’ll Bring * Proven TIG welding experience, preferably in aerospace or another highly regulated industry * Exceptional skill working with exotic metals and ultra-thin materials * Meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality * Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards * Understanding of lean manufacturing principles (5S) * Ability to thrive in a collaborative, precision-driven environment What We Offer * Permanent full-time position with 37-hours week onsite, anything over is paid at time-and-a-half * Opportunity to master your craft and develop skills * Continued training and development with opportunities for progression, which is encouraged * Extensive benefits package Operational Hours 06:00 to 13:45 – Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 13:00 – Friday 13:30 to 21:15 – Monday to Thursday 11:45 to 17:45 – Friday This is more than just a welding position—it’s an opportunity to contribute to the aerospace industry with a company at the forefront of manufacturing excellence
