A globally recognised manufacturer of critical aerospace components is urgently seeking 2 CNC Turners to support a surge in demand on a 13-week contract.

The Role

  • To support project requirements, you'll be turning parts in Inconel with the use of machine tools with Fanuc controllers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Loading and unloading tooling to carry out machining operations.
  • Working to fine tolerances across a range of materials.
  • Performing visual and dimensional inspections.
  • Using precision measuring equipment (shadowgraph, gauges, verniers).
  • Operating one or more CNC machines simultaneously.
  • Ensuring all products meet customer and internal standards (including NADCAP and AS9100).

What We're Looking For

  • You'll be a skilled, detail-focused engineer with experience in precision manufacturing.
  • Essential:
  • Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship or equivalent).
  • Minimum 6 years experience in a precision manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred but not essential).
  • Strong experience with Fanuc controls.
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances and strict quality standards.
  • Experience working to production targets.
  • Self-inspection with the use of hand tools, e.g. micrometers, vernier calipers.
