Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Rotherham Β£50 to Β£52.5K One of the UKβs leading designers and manufacturers of bespoke materials handling, conveying systems, & industrial equipment, with supporting structural framework, is looking to secure the services of an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. The company, with a heritage of over four decades, commenced trade supplying to the mining community and has since successfully diversified into new sectors including Power, Waste, Mining and Quarrying β where it enjoys a strong reputation of project delivery. Due to continued growth and increased projects, you will join a team of 5 highly capable engineers working on individual projects in a collaborative fashion. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, a short summary of the duties & responsibilities will include, but not be restricted to, * Design parts, assemblies and installations using SolidWorks. * Provide technical support to ensure equipment is manufactured, tested, installed, and commissioned in accordance with design and operational requirements. * Contribute to the delivery of mechanical aspects of projects, either individually or as part of a project team. This includes the following: specification, design development, design reviews, change management, design risk assessments, implementation, integration, and commissioning. * Ensuring that the Health and Safety Policy, hazard and risk analysis, compliance with Construction Design and Management and any other regulations are adhered to within the scope of work. * Ensuring that the Quality Policy and procedures are adhered to within the scope of work.
