This is a hands-on quality role for someone who understands that a Business Management System is only as good as the people maintaining it. The business operates to AS9100 standards and needs a Quality Compliance Engineer who can own the audit process, close out non-conformances properly, and keep the BMS in shape - not just on paper.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintaining and developing the Business Management System (BMS) in line with ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements
  • Planning and conducting internal audits across all departments, managing the audit schedule end to end
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for external audits - customers, certification bodies, and regulatory organisations
  • Raising, tracking, and closing out non-conformances with proper root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Controlling quality documentation - procedures, work instructions, and records
  • Conducting supplier quality evaluations and audits where required
  • Providing quality guidance and training to staff across the business
  • Supporting customer quality requirements and leading investigations when needed

The Environment: A precision manufacturing facility in Sheffield, working Monday to Friday. The quality function sits close to the shop floor and interfaces regularly with production, supply chain, and customers.
