This Leeds-based precision engineering business is looking for a CNC Miller Setter Operator with solid programming capability to join a close-knit machining team. The work is varied, the tolerances are tight, and the expectation is that you can hit the floor running.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines from scratch
  • Working with Fanuc, Heidenhain, and/or Siemens control systems
  • Selecting tooling, setting offsets, and proving out new programs
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce components to tight tolerances
  • Carrying out inspection and applying quality standards throughout the process
  • Contributing to continuous improvement on the shop floor
