Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking recruitment consultancy specialising in niche markets such as Renewable Energy, Commodities and Finance. With a strong reputation for delivering exceptional talent solutions across a variety of industries globally they are now wanting to capitalise on this with a focus on their Technology division.

Role Overview

As the Head of Technology , you will lead and scale the division working closely with your counterparts. This is a senior leadership role where you’ll drive strategic growth, manage high-performing teams, and deliver exceptional recruitment solutions to our clients. You’ll bring a deep understanding of the technology recruitment market, a track record of building strong client relationships, and a passion for leading teams to exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute the growth strategy for the technology recruitment division.
  • Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities within the technology sector.
  • Establish our client as a market leader in technology recruitment.

Team Management & Development

  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of recruitment consultants, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
  • Set individual and team performance goals, ensuring targets are consistently achieved or exceeded.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to support team members’ professional growth.

Client and Candidate Engagement

  • Maintain and grow relationships with key clients, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Develop a client acquisition strategy, targeting leading organisations in the technology sector and the other Key markets within the business.
  • Oversee the delivery of a seamless recruitment process, matching top talent with client needs.

Operational Excellence

  • Analyse market trends and data to ensure our client remains competitive and innovative.
  • Collaborate with other business units to identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Oversee compliance with recruitment regulations and internal policies.

Revenue and P&L Management

  • Take ownership of divisional P&L, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Monitor financial performance, implement cost-effective solutions, and maximize ROI.

  • Strong understanding of the technology landscape and its evolving recruitment needs.

  • £60,000-£100,000 Base ( DOE) / 10% team override – then after year one moving onto a P&L
