Your Role: As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshoot and repair of complex electrical and mechanical problems.
- Work within a team manufacturing Ion Implantation Equipment.
- Perform assembly building and installation on all IBS products.
- Work from engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals during the installation, debugging, and refurbishment/repair of IBS equipment.
- Building and Installing of all types of mechanical and electrical hardware.
- Cable build, termination and installation of all electrical equipment.
Note: Initial training period provided to ensure a smooth integration and rapid impact.
We are looking to hire a multi-skilled Manufacturing Engineer with solid experience with industrial machinery. Time-served, with an HNC/Equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or closely-related subject, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing. Solid understanding of electrical-mechanical integration.
- High level of practical electrical and mechanical skills.
- Ability to apply ingenuity and logic to build complex modules and sub-assemblies that cover all aspects of electrical/electronic and mechanical hardware and control.
- Semiconductor background.
