This is a unique opportunity to join a technical team where you’ll take end-to-end ownership of control systems projects—from concept development through to testing and commissioning. IBS is expanding its operations and moving into OEM manufacturing, and you’ll play a key role in the development of new machines as the company pivots its focus. As the company transitions to a new facility at Eurocentral, near Motherwell, in late 2025, you’ll be an integral part of this next stage of growth.
- Take ownership of projects from the design stage through to test and commissioning.
- Develop control systems solutions tailored to specific project needs, including working with PLCs (ST and Ladder Logic).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers at our French facility, to deliver effective solutions.
- Analyse data to improve the performance and functionality of equipment.
- Contribute to the design and development of new machines as IBS moves toward OEM manufacturing.
- Provide training to in-house and external personnel.
Strong experience with PLC control systems (both ST and Ladder Logic). Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project). Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time. Valid UK driving licence.
