About the Role
This is a hands-on position within our manufacturing team, working on the assembly, wiring, and refurbishment of advanced semiconductor ion implantation equipment. You’ll be involved in building electrical systems from engineering drawings, installing cable assemblies, and ensuring everything meets the highest standards of precision and quality.
As IBS transitions to a new facility at Eurocentral near Motherwell in 2026, you’ll play a key role in supporting this exciting phase of growth.
Your Impact:
- Carry out electrical assembly and refurbishment of complex equipment
- Work from engineering drawings and schematics
- Install and terminate cables and electrical systems
- Follow ISO procedures and cleanroom protocols
What You’ll Need:
- Electrical qualification (HNC or equivalent)
- Strong practical electrical skills
- Experience wiring control panels and building cable assemblies/terminations
- Manufacturing or assembly background (maintenance experience considered)
- Ability to work from technical drawings
