Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure using Terraform, state management, and version control to deliver consistent, automated environments.
- Own and lead major incidents end-to-end, using structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis to drive swift resolution while minimising customer impact.
- Proactively monitor and optimise platforms, identifying and resolving potential issues before they become service-affecting.
- Diagnose complex technical problems across networking, compute, storage, and application layers, using strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement, enhancing platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency while reducing manual effort.
- Collaborate closely with Professional Services and Engineering, Security, and Service teams to deliver resilient, secure, and compliant infrastructure solutions.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, particularly during high-pressure or high-impact situations.
- Act as a senior technical presence within the team—supporting others, contributing to best practices, and shaping the ongoing evolution of our cloud services.
Qualifications
- Experienced Infrastructure or Cloud Engineer who thrives on designing and supporting secure, scalable environments across cloud and on-prem platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and a passion for building consistent, automated, and repeatable solutions.
- Full ownership of complex, high-impact incidents, leading them end-to-end with clear communication, structured troubleshooting, and meaningful root cause analysis.
